Men’s Soccer Draws Even with Viking on Homecoming

- Records: Fitchburg (2-7-2, 0-3-1 MASCAC), Salem (5-3-3, 1-1-3 MASCAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Falcons scored first 22 minutes into the contest. Nathan Youngquest (Lowell, MA) set up to take a corner kick that found the head of Anthony Oliveira-Dalicandro (Waltham, MA) for the go-ahead goal.

- The Vikings tied the game in the 71st minute on a long cross from David Carfagnini that found Iago De Sousa-Vieira inside the box for a top-shelf header.

- The tie brings Marcelo Silva's record to 2-2-3 for the season, while Tristan White (Tewksbury, MA) moves to 2-2-1. White had his best game in net, keeping the Falcons in it with 11 saves. Silva faced just six shots on goal, saving five.
