Men's Cross Country Places 19th At 2024 DIII East Regional Championships
Manyok leads the way for Green and Gold with time of 26:48.53
Hopkinton, NH. – The Fitchburg State University men's cross country team placed 19th overall with a total of 572 points at the 2024 DIII East Regional Championships this afternoon at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds.

How It Happened
Senior Taban Manyok (Lynn, MA) led the way for the Green and Gold, 60th overall with a time of 26:48.53 over the 8K course, while junior Michael Burns (Worcester, MA) was next for the Green and Gold, crossing the line in 68th place with a time of 26:58.93.
Newcomer Samuel Edwards (Townsend, MA) followed in 126th place at 28:33.21, while senior Joshua Lancaster (Holden, MA) added a 155th place time of 30:00.09.
Rounding out the top finishers for the Green and Gold were freshman Brendan Guenard (Andover, MA) and senior Aidan Cattelan (West Hartford, CT) with times of 30:33.45 and 31:49.61 respectively.

- Jake Velazquez of Keene State won the 2024 DIII East Regional Championships with a time 24:35.22
- MIT won the 2024 DIII East Regional Championship Meet with a total of 43 points.
