Women's Basketball Flies Past Lynx
FITCHBURG, MA: Fitchburg State women's basketball took down the Lynx of Lesley University in non-conference action this evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The first half saw the Falcons explode to a 21-3 lead behind Morgan Genness (Belgrade, ME), who had eight in the first quarter. Fitchburg's defense helped cause 16 Lynx turnovers and allowed them to score just 12 points in the half. Rylie Harlow (Hanson, MA) led the way for the Falcons offense in the second half with a combined 12 points, giving her a final of 18 on the day.
- Stephanie Hart (Shirley, MA) continued her dominance on the boards as she pulled down 18 in the game, falling two points shy of another double-double. Aliza Som (Lowell, MA) finished with a team-high five steals.
- The Lynx were paced by Jaira Moore, who had a team-high nine points while coming off the bench. Ahidali DeHuelbes topped all tonight in rebounds with 11. Lesley found it hard to score a basket, shooting 8-62 (12.9%) from the floor and 2-22 (9.1%) from three.
