Women's Basketball Setback by AMCATS
PAXTON, MA: Fitchburg State women's basketball fell to the AMCATS of Anna Maria College in non-conference action this evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- From the beginning of the contest, the AMCATS quickly got on a roll and never looked back. Anna Maria outscored the Falcons in the first three quarters, with their best output in the third when they dropped 30 points to Fitchburg's 16. The Falcons tied the fourth 18-18, but the damage had been done. Marinique Reddin had another big game for the AMCATS with 26 points, six rebounds, six assists, and four steals. While coming off the bench, Madison Paulhus put up an impressive 19 points with eight rebounds. Arianna Gonzalez and Kiara Gauthier also contributed 13 points each, with Gonzalez pulling down seven boards.
- The Falcons had four athletes hit double-digit points this evening. At the top of the list was Kaelynn Tanner (Lowell, MA), who finished shooting 5-of-12 from the floor and 2-of-5 from three for 12 points. Rylie Harlow (Hanson, MA) was next with an 11-point performance. Stephanie Hart (Shirley, MA) and Kathryn Hart (Shirley, MA) both put up ten points, with Stephanie contributing 11 rebounds for another double-double.
