Harlow Scores her 1,000th Career Point in Loss to Sage
FITCHBURG, MA: Fitchburg State women's basketball lost to Russell Sage College in non-conference action this evening with a final score of 78-63. Rylie Harlow (Hanson, MA) shone in the contest for the Falcons by scoring her 1,000th career point.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The game started with a Kaelynn Tanner (Lowell, MA) three-point shot for the Falcons. Sage would then take the lead back after a nine-point run. The Gators would never trail again in the contest as they outscored Fitchburg 22-13, 16-12, and 29-23 in the first, second, and fourth quarters. The Falcons did top Sage in the third quarter with a 15-11 score.
- Sage was paced by Layla Acosta, who had a team-high 16 points, with six rebounds, two assists, and four steals. Kallie Hopkins also had a big game, scoring 15 points and hauling in nine rebounds. Riley Sitcer rounded out the top scorers for the Gators with 13 points. Today's top rebounder was Malena Gereau, who had 11 boards.
Harlow topped Fitchburg in points and rebounds tonight. She not only scored her 1,000th career point but also scored a game-high 19 points and had a team-high six rebounds. Tanner also scored double digits, with 12 points and four steals.
