HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Lyons wouldn't stay down long as they would find the back of the net on a penalty corner just about four minutes later. Kelsey Thompson would gather the pass from Riley Levrault and let it rip for the tying score.
- Wheaton would take the lead quickly into the second quarter in the 17th minute on a tipped shot from Delia Knox. Levrault, who had the original shot, was credited with the assist. They would add on in the 22nd minute, extending their lead to 3-1. Thompson struck again for her second of the game after teammate Lydia Gaudreau found her open just inside the right side of the circle.
- The Lyons would strike first in the second half. Hannah Fortin would swipe the ball away from a Falcon defender right in front of the goal and finish, making the game 4-1. Wheaton continued its success deep into the third quarter, extending its lead even further with a fifth goal. This time, Levrault was the one finding the back of the net on a deflection from Gaudreau.
