Narkevicius' Hat Trick Leads Field Hockey Past Bridgewater
BRIDGEWATER, MA: Fitchburg State field hockey picked up its fifth straight win after taking down the Bears of Bridgewater State this afternoon in conference action.
THE BASICS:

- Score: Fitchburg 5, Bridgewater 0
- Records: Fitchburg (6-6, 5-0 MASCAC), Bridgewater (3-7, 1-4 MASCAC)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After a scoreless first half, the Falcons would come out of the break and rattle off five consecutive goals. Sophia Yates (Woodstock, VT) would get things started in the 36th minute. Olivia Narkevicius (Phillipston, MA) would net the next one at the conclusion of the third quarter.
- Yates would get the fourth started with her second of the game and eighth goal of the season, giving the Falcons a 3-0 lead. The final two goals would come from Narkevicius in the 49th and 56th minutes, giving her the hat trick and her fifth and sixth goals of the year.
- Isabella Corcoran (Braintree, MA) got her first collegiate win (1-1) this afternoon after making all four saves needed to complete the shutout. Brianna Gagnon suffered the loss (2-7) after surrendering the five goals. She did make nine saves for the Bears.
