Leominster, Mass. native collects second weekly honor of the year

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State junior goalkeeper Jenna Morse (Leominster, Mass.) was recently named Little East Conference (LEC) Field Hockey Goalkeeper of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday.

The third-year Falcon earns her second weekly accolade on the season after posting 38 saves with a .927 save percentage and a 1.50 goals against average in a 2-0 week for the Falcons. Morse made 19 saves in a 3-1 triumph over Keene State on Tuesday before adding 19 stops in a 6-2 victory against Castleton on Friday.

The Fitchburg State field hockey team (8-5, 6-2 LEC) returns to action on Wednesday as they visit Southern Maine for a conference matchup, starting at 7:00 PM.
