MASCAC Women’s Indoor Track Pre-Season Poll Announced
Falcons selected fourth with a total of three points
FITCHBURG, Mass. – The Fitchburg State women's indoor track and field team was recently selected fourth in the 2024-25 MASCAC Pre-Season Coaches Poll as announced by the league office Thursday afternoon.
The Owls of Westfield State were selected as the pre-season favorite to win the 2024-25 MASCAC Women's Indoor Track & Field crown after receiving three first place votes to amass a total of nine points to edge second place Bridgewater State's total of seven points, which included the final first place ballot.
Sitting in the third slot was Worcester State with a total of five points, while the Falcons of Fitchburg State were selected fourth with a total of three points to round out the 2024-25 MASCAC Women's Indoor Track & Field Pre-Season Poll.
The Indoor Track & Field season begins on Saturday, December 7th when Bridgewater State competes at the Early Bird Invitational, Fitchburg State and Westfield State head to Springfield College for the Springfield College Season Opener Invitational and Worcester State will compete at the Wesleyan Winter Invite.
