Falcons Drop Regular Season Finale to Lancers
Worcester, Mass. – The Fitchburg State women's lacrosse team fell to the Lancers of Worcester State 18-4 in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action on Saturday afternoon at John Coughlin Stadium.

How It Happened
The Lancers raced out to a 3-0 lead on a pair of goals from Emily Pavoni (Granby, Mass.). The Falcons tipped the twine with a goal from Jessica St. George (Dracut, Mass.) to cut the deficit to 3-1.
Clare Conway (Billerica, Mass.) sparked seven unanswered goals in the second quarter with four goals in the span.
Trailing 13-1 the Green and Gold potted back-to-back goals from newcomer Sophia Yates (Woodstock, Vt.) and sophomore Abaigeal Gilman (Clinton, Mass.).
Worcester State upped the lead to 18-3 before the Falcons closed out the game with a goal from St. George resulting in the 18-4 final.

- Alyson Cote (South Hadley, Mass.) posted 13 saves in the setback for the Falcons, her counterpart Savanna Rosado turned aside 9 shots in the victory.
