Falcons Name Pair To MASCAC All-Conference Teams
St. George selected MASCAC Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Year
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Two Falcons were named to the 2023 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Lacrosse All-Conference Second Team as announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon.
Freshman Jessica St. George (Dracut, Mass.) led all Falcon honorees after being selected MASCAC Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Year in addition to collecting Second Team All-Conference honors, while senior Grace Wetherbee (Marblehead, Mass.) netted All-Conference Second honors as well.
St. George notches her first All-Conference accolades after totaling 36 points on 23 goals and 13 assists as well as 39 ground balls, 57 draw controls and ten caused turnovers, while starting all 15 games for the Green and Gold.
Wetherbee also collects her first All-Conference honors, posting a team leading 36 caused turnover as well as two goals and 33 ground balls over 15 contests for the Green and Gold.
The Fitchburg State University Women's Lacrosse team recently concluded its 2023 campaign with an overall record of 5-10 and a 2-5 clip within conference play.
