Women's Lacrosse Falls Short to Wildcats
PROVIDENCE, RI: Fitchburg State women's lacrosse fell to non-conference opponent Johnson & Wales this evening.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Wildcats jumped out to a 5-0 lead through the first quarter. Both teams added three in the second quarter to bring the halftime score to 8-3 in favor of JWU. At the conclusion of the third quarter, the Wildcats held an 11-4 lead. The Falcons would rally back to 7-11 on three straight goals. Autumn Tibbetts (Lunenburg, MA), Noelle Kennedy (Walpole, MA), and Nicole Orlowski (Ellington, CT) put that run together. JWU would answer right back by putting the game back out of reach with a three-goal swing. Orlowski finished the scoring for Fitchburg on a man-up opportunity.
- The Wildcats were led by four athletes comprised of Maris Dibeneditto, Katie Sloan, Madeleine Gould, and Isabella Nugent. Dibeneditto led the way with four goals and one assist. Sloan and Gould both scored three goals, along with two assists. Nugent rounded up the offense with three goals.
Tibbetts led the Falcons with three goals and three assists, and Orlowski added three goals and one assist. Kennedy and Jessica St. George (Dracut, MA) added one goal apiece.

- Emma Glyman (W, 2-3) made 7 saves on 15 shots faced.
- Caitlin Persson (Worcester, MA) (L, 3-2) made 7 saves on 22 shots faced.
