Women's Lacrosse Stumbles to Bears
BRIDGEWATER, MA: Fitchburg State women's lacrosse fell this afternoon to MASCAC opponent Bridgewater State by a score of 19-10.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bears would take a 3-0 in the first quarter and build on after that by outscoring the Falcons in all four quarters. Fitchburg had its best performance in the second quarter of the contest, putting up four goals. That quarter was highlighted by Abaigeal Doheny (Lunenburg, MA), who found the back of the net twice. After an 8-4 half, the Bears would rattle off three to start the third to extend the lead. Alexis Raymond (Tewksbury, MA) would continue her hot hand for the Falcons, scoring two goals in a row. Between Savannah Herrington and Camryn Gonsalves's offensive output, the Falcons could mount a comeback. Herrington and Gonsalves combined for nine goals.
Bridgewater was paced by Herrington, who had five goals. Gonsalves was just one shy with four goals and four assists. Erin McIntyre added three more goals for the Bears.
Doheny led the Falcons offense with three goals and one draw control. Raymond added two, and Noelle Kennedy (Walpole, MA) added two.
