How It Happened

Senior Makany Camara (Lowell, MA) paced the Falcons, finishing fifth overall in the 100 meter hurdles with an All-New England qualifying time of 14.75 seconds, while adding a third place mark of 1.67 meters in the high jump.

Sophomore Skye Goba (Norton, MA) placed 19th in the 10000 meter with a personal best time of 40:39.48, while junior Ephemian Bailey (Maple Grove, MN) finished 11th overall in the discus with a toss of 37.97 meters.

The 4x100 meter relay team of sophomores Trishannah Scott (Leominster, MA), Aria DiCato (Fitchburg, MA) and Alanis Velez (Lowell, MA) and Camara turned in a 16th place time of 53.74 seconds, while the 4x400 meter relay team of Velez, Scott, DiCato and freshman Taylor Crout (Boise, ID) posted a 18th place time of 4:33.27 to round out the top Falcon efforts on the day.
