Bridgewater, MA – The Fitchburg State women's soccer team played the Bears of Bridgewater State to a 0-0 draw in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action this evening at Mazzaferro Field.

How It Happened
Following a scoreless first half, Bridgewater State threatened in the 76 minute as junior Natalie Mattos (Fairhaven, MA) fired a shot on frame, but Falcon keeper Mia Herron (Mendon, MA) turned the shot aside to preserve the 0-0 stalemate.
Fitchburg State nearly grabbed the lead minutes later when senior Adrianna Westcott (Sayreville, NJ) blasted a shot on target only to have Bears netminder Logan Levesque (Bristol, RI) deny the scoring opportunity, resulting in the 0-0 draw.
