Women’s Soccer Shutout by Wentworth
BOSTON, MA: The Fitchburg State women's soccer team was shut out by the Wentworth Institute of Technology Leopards this evening in non-conference play, 4-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Wentworth scored three goals in the first half, giving them a commanding lead at halftime. Lily Carlson opened the scoring in the 5th minute with her sixth goal of the season. Kyra Forsberg added the second goal of the half in the 8th minute for her second goal of the season. Brooke Finlay finished the half in the 43rd minute with her second goal of the year.
- Wentworth maintained their 3-0 lead into the 84th minute, when they scored their final goal of the game. Olivia Gass scored her first goal of the year with a header off a corner.
- Shyla Kulesza earned the win (2-0-2) after making six saves. Mia Herron (Mendon, MA) took the loss (0-6) after allowing a goal and making one save. Madison Dawkins (Haverhill, MA) entered the game and played 69 minutes, during which she made five saves and allowed two goals.
