Women’s Soccer Takes Down AMCATS on Senior Day
FITCHBURG, MA: The Fitchburg State women's soccer team defeated the AMCATS of Anna Maria College this afternoon in MASCAC action, 2-0. The Falcons also celebrated four departing seniors of the program, Adrianna Westcott (Sayreville, NJ), Zoe Chrisostomides (Scotch Plains, NJ), Sophia Moore (Killingly, CT), and Sera Gagnon (Agawam, MA).

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Falcons netted their first goal in the 43rd minute of the first half. Westcott scored her fifth goal of the season on a great touch shot past the keeper after Moore found her open.
- Fitchburg added a second goal in the 56th minute in the second half. This time, it was Delia Fitzgerald (Foxboro, MA) from Joanie Butler (Woburn, MA). Fitzgerald's goal marked her first of the season.
- Madison Dawkins (Haverhill, MA) had a quiet day in goal for the Falcons, facing just two shots and making the saves. Brooke Austin played well in net, making some great saves. Overall, she recorded ten saves with only one goal allowed. Kortney Clark entered in the second half and added six more saves.
