Sayreville, N.J. native earns first weekly accolade of the season

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman Adrianna Westcott (Sayreville, N.J.) was recently tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

The first year Falcon earns her first weekly honor of the year after registering three points on one goal scored and one assist over two contests for the Green and Gold.

Westcott collected an assist in a 4-2 setback to the Leopards of Wentworth on Wednesday afternoon before netting the game tying goal in a 1-1 draw with the Bears of Bridgewater State on Saturday for the Falcons.

The Fitchburg State Women's Soccer team (4-4-2, 2-0-1 MASCAC) return to action on Tuesday as they travel to Eastern Nazarene to take on the Lions in non-conference action, starting at 7:30 PM.
