Milton, Mass. – The Fitchburg State women's soccer team suffered a 3-0 setback to the Colonels of Curry College this afternoon in non-conference action from Katz Field.

How It Happened
Curry opened the scoring at the 21:11 mark as graduate student Maddie Resendes (Coventry, RI) settled a feed from senior Kiera Lindmark (Norfolk, MA) and deposited a shot inside the far post for her third goal of the season for the 1-0 margin going into the break.
Following the intermission, the Colonels doubled their advantage in the 46th minute of action with junior Jovi Goldstein (Bristol, RI) finding the back of the net for her second tally of the 2024 campaign to make the score 2-0.
The hosts extended the lead to 3-0 at the 50:06 mark when sophomore Mia Schena (Nahant, MA) fired a shot into the upper left corner for her second goal of the year off an assist from classmate Sage Carmody (Southington, CT).
