Women's Soccer Drops Non-Conference Match with Nichols
FITCHBURG, MA: Fitchburg State women's soccer fell to the Bison of Nichols College this afternoon in non-conference action.
THE BASICS:

- Score: Nichols 2, Fitchburg 0
- Records: Nichols (4-6-2), Fitchburg (1-8-3)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bison got the scoring started in the 11th minute. Megan Tucker received a pass from Grace Killman inside the box, and she would pop it up to herself and head it in for the go-ahead score.
- The second half saw the Bison extend their lead to 2-0 in the 48th minute. Nichols had solid ball movement, swinging the ball from the left to the right. Tucker earned another point after assisting Sarah Rucci for her first goal of the season.
- Saige Frazier saw nine shots on goal this evening. After saving all shots faced, she got the win (4-4-2) and completed the shutout. Cassandra Pendleton (Ware, MA) suffered the loss (0-1-2) after allowing two goals and making 12 saves.
