Volleyball Concludes Season with Loss to Owls
WESTFIELD, MA: Fitchburg State volleyball fell to the Owls of Westfield State this evening in MASCAC action.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Owls played very clean volleyball by limiting errors in all aspects of the match. They also outhit the Falcons 39 to 21 and finished with a .322 kill percentage compared to Fitchburg's .046. Hanna Nihill, Emma Nihill, and Sarah Bigham paced the Owls offense with a combined 25 kills. Hanna Nihill topped the team with nine kills, while Emma Nihill and Bigham finished with eight. Julia Dangel-Garcia topped all setters tonight with 18 assists, including six digs.
- The Falcons offense was run by Sariah Dyer (Raynham, MA), who had eight kills, including two assists and three blocks. Mia Vestal (Wilmington, MA) topped the Falcons team from her setting position with ten assists. Samantha Mirra (Burlington, MA) held down the back line for Fitchburg as she racked up six digs.
