Women's Volleyball Drops Pair Of Non-Conference Tilts
Dyer finishes with a combined ten kills for the Green and Gold
Worcester, MA: Fitchburg State dropped a pair of non-conference matches to the Cougars of Clark University and the University of Hartford Hawks by the scores of 3-0 and 3-0 this afternoon in a tri-match, hosted by Clark University.

Match One:
- Fitchburg State was paced by senior Sariah Dyer (Raynham, MA), with a team-leading four kills, while sophomore setter Mia Vestal (Wilmington, MA) finished with a team best eight assists. Defensively for the Green and Gold senior outside hitter Samantha Mirra (Burlington, MA) led the way with nine digs.
- For the Cougars, graduate student Victoria Pastor (Guaynabo, PR) led the way on the attack, finishing with a match best 12 kills, while senior Emily Newman (River Edge, NJ) dealt out a team leading 19 assists. Defensively, Newman and junior Yumeng Liu (Beijing, Shi) collected eight digs each.

- For Hartford, newcomer Tiffany Mendez (Bay Shore, NY) racked up a match leading 17 kills, while junior Kylee Connally (Dallas, TX) notched a team best 23 assists. The Hawks defense was paced by Mendez and sophomore Jordan Murphy (East Hampton, CT) finished with 11 digs apiece.
