Volleyball Downed by the Raiders
NASHUA, NH: Fitchburg State women's volleyball was defeated by the Raiders of Rivier University this afternoon in non-conference action.
THE BASICS:

- Records: Rivier (9-7), Fitchburg (0-11)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Raiders had each set in hand throughout the match, outhitting the Falcons 12-3, 9-1, and 10-5 in each set. Riv also added 14 service aces, with Ryan Hicks topping all with six aces. She was also the setter, as she dished out 20 assists. Ali Rivera was the go-to hitter, finishing with a match-high of seven kills. Lily Seibel was the staple defender in the back row with seven digs.
- The Falcons offense was topped by Gwynneth Norman (Keene, NH), who had three kills. Madison Keohane (Wakefield, MA) sent out six sets that ended in kills, giving her the assist. From her libero spot, Jessica Greco (Southington, CT) had a team-high six digs.
