Women's Volleyball Topped By Trailblazers In Conference Tilt
Sardella and Azzari combine for 13 kills
North Adams, MA: The Fitchburg State Women's Volleyball team dropped a straight set decision to the Trailblazers of MCLA this evening in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action from the Amsler Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Fitchburg State's offense was paced by junior Stephanie Sardella (Billerica, MA) with a team-leading seven kills as well as adding a team best nine digs, while sophomore Samantha Azzari (Haverhill, MA) contributed to the Falcons offense with six kills in addition to a pair of digs. Sophomore setter Mia Vestal (Wilmington, MA) finished with a team best 12 assists, one service ace and three digs, while newcomer Madison Keohane (Wakefield, MA) added nine sets and four digs in the match.
- For the Trailblazers, junior Audrey Melson (Champlin, MN) led the way on the attack, finishing with a match best 15 kills, while freshman Addison Decaro (Eagle River, AK) dealt out a match leading 20 assists. Defensively, senior Ezmeralda Albright (Loves Park, IL) collected 17 digs for MCLA.
