Volleyball Flies Past Albertus Magnus
FITCHBURG, MA: Fitchburg State women's volleyball took down the Falcons of Albertus Magnus this evening in non-conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Falcons were firing on all cylinders this evening, playing offensively and defensively well. Stephanie Sardella (Billerica, MA) played a key part in the Falcons success this evening. She finished with a match-high ten kills and a team-high 13 digs. Sariah Dyer (Raynham, MA) continued to play well for Fitchburg, as she racked up eight kills, two blocks, and six digs. Madison Keohane (Wakefield, MA) and Mia Vestal (Wilmington, MA) split setting duties this evening, with Keohane finishing with 16 assists and Vestal adding another 15.
- Albertus struggled to find a groove on the attack as they racked up 26 errors with just 29 kills for a .023 kill percentage. Majo Pelaez topped the team with nine kills to go along with ten digs. Amanda Zdru did all she could to keep the ball alive for the Falcons. She ended the match with a high of 23 digs. Shalese Gordon was the primary setter in this one, finishing with a team-high 18 assists.
