Randolph, VT. – The Fitchburg State University women's cross country team finished fifth overall at the 2025 Silloway Maple Syrup Challenge with a total of 130 points, hosted by Vermont Tech today.

How It Happened
Senior Skye Goba (Norton, MA) led the way the Falcons, placing 15th overall with a time of 29:19.14 over the 6K layout, while junior Gwendolyn Connors (Ayer, MA) was next for the Green and Gold, crossing the line with a 32nd place time of 23:31.16.
Junior Alexis Toste (Dracut, MA) followed in 50th place with a time of 26:15.18, while senior Alanis Velez (Lowell, MA) entered the chute in 56th place with a time of28:44.20.
Freshman Dehkontee Cooper (Haverhill, MA) (64th), junior Taylor Crout (Boise, ID) (65th) and sophomore Ashe Miola (Leominster, MA) (66th) rounded out the top finishers for the Green and Gold with times of 31:53.05, 32:40.82 and 32:42.74.
