King Tabbed MASCAC Rookie Of The Week
Townsend, MA. native receives first week accolade of the season
Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman Amanda King (Townsend, MA) was recently tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
The first year Falcons collects her first weekly honor on the year after placing 31st overall with a time of 25:19.10 for the Green and Gold to help lead Fitchburg State to a fourth-place finish at the 2024 Knights Maple Syrup Challenge, hosted by Vermont Technical College on Saturday.
The Fitchburg State Women's Cross Country team returns to action on Saturday as they compete at the 2024 Pop Crowell Invitational, hosted by Gordon College, starting at 10:00AM.
