Our graduate commencement will be held on Thursday, May 15 at 4 p.m. in the Athletics and Recreation Center. Graduates of the Class of 2025 must arrive no later than 3 p.m. 

Fitchburg State University will hold its undergraduate commencement ceremony on the main quadrangle at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 17. The processional will begin promptly at 9:50 a.m. Please arrive no later than 9 a.m.

Our final meeting of the Transfer Student Success series of Research Roundtable, in which we will discuss the effect of math course repetition on transfer student success, will be on Wed. 5/21 at 9 a.m. - save the date! 

The Retired Educators Luncheon is June 4, 2024. Celebrating our alumni's years of service to the educational system and students of the region.

Our Summer Orientation programs are designed to prepare our incoming Falcons to get off to a great start in their time at Fitchburg State. These activities will familiarize you with what to expect from your on-campus experiences, from the classroom to the campus center, whether you're living in one of our residence halls or commuting. You will also learn about the array of support services we have created to help you achieve all of your goals at the university. The following dates are scheduled:

Join former head men’s basketball coach (1978-1980) and 15-year NBA Coach Jimmy Todd ’76, ’81, alumni, current players, parents and friends of Falcon Men’s Basketball, for a great day of golf at Four Oaks Country Club, all to support the Men’s Basketball Endowment Fund at Fitchburg State.
