The Wallace Civic Center includes the Gaetz Arena ice rink and Landry Arena strength and conditioning facility. Built as a Fitchburg city facility, the Civic Center has been managed by the university since 2006 and is home to the Fitchburg State Falcons ice hockey team. The ice surface is used for community teams and public skating (free for students and staff).

Managed by Facility Management Corporation of Massachusetts, the site can be used for expanded programming as a multifunctional center capable of seating more than 3,000 people for concerts.
