President Hodge discussed her vision for Fitchburg State on FATV's North Central Journal in October 2024. The interview was conducted by Scott May. The crew for the episode included university students enrolled in Fitchburg State's multi-camera production class that is taught in the FATV studios in downtown Fitchburg.

Rock the Block, an annual event here at Fitchburg State University, gives students a chance to connect with over 150 Clubs, Organizations, Departments and Non-Profits. There are a plethora of activities, including an obstacle course, dinner, dunk tank, ice cream truck, club demonstrations, free stuff and so much more!

The university celebrated the graduation of the 7th Recruit Officer Course of its groundbreaking police program on Friday, Sept. 13, 2024. The class address was given by Class Leader Cooper Howell. Fitchburg State President Donna Hodge offered a welcome, as did State Rep. Michael Kushmerek and Municipal Police Training Committee Director of Training Andrea Nardone.
