Kristin C. (Anderson) Link graduated from Fitchburg State with a degree in Computer Science in 1985 and began her career in Silicon Valley. At Hewlett-Packard, she began in technical roles, then in sales and marketing before moving into leadership training. Her varied jobs often included conveying technical information to non-technical audiences. The skills she learned about storytelling and simplifying information are the foundation of what she shares with her clients. As a Public Speaking Coach and Storyteller, Kristin inspires people to share stories that create meaningful change. - Falcon Talks: Rob Comeau ’93 presents “Photography in the Age of the Selfie”(1:12:36) Rob Comeau is a 1993 graduate of Fitchburg State’s communications media program. Comeau is a passionate, energetic and resourceful photographer/videographer and has worked extensively in advertising, and creative management. He currently teaches at College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, CA and has conducted workshops over the summer through AndersonRanch Arts Center (RobComeau.com). Comeau will lead us in an engaging conversation about how photography has changed in 195 years and the fundamentals that still hold true today, even when using our camera phone. - O Ye That Love the Lord performed by Fitchburg State University Choirs and Christ Church Fitchburg(3:38) The Fitchburg State University Choirs and Christ Church Fitchburg have collaborated to create a performance from a distance! Each musician's independently created contribution has been combined to build a performance of Black British composer Samuel Coleridge-Taylor's (1875-1912) anthem for choir and organ, "O Ye That Love the Lord" (1892), as a tribute to this musical luminary. This project was supported by a grant from the Douglas & Isabelle Crocker Center for Civic Engagement at Fitchburg State University.
